Young Polak
Hi Luke, Over the next 10 days or so I will be putting everyday in auction: - Leggenda teams - Leggenda figures - Leggenda bases So yes, bases - new / never used - will be sold separately (starting price £3.99-) I will let you know when I put the bases (probably will be just after the figures) - please don't want you to think I am spamming. Don't know if you noticed already but our shipping prices to Australia are now much cheaper. If you add items to your cart postage will be calculated automatically, otherwise I will send invoice or refund. Best Regards
Young Polak
Hi, The production of Stefan Corda has stopped, don't know if bases will be made again. But I will stock soon another brand. The figures are already on the way. I should receive the bases in 3 or 4 weeks. They will be cheaper that the raptor and all colours will be available. Thanks
Young Polak
under going a new set up of supporters on the yside grandstand, just doing a few tweeks of flag holders, re-applying 2 of the banners which were a bit weirdly shaped and thinking of applying a tifo and going back to the smoke stuff I added on the terrace. Probs make this as the semi tifo, only be half the terrace in length and cover one small bay of that half, but will have 2 figures leaning over holding on to it from the to stand and make it flow to the bottom Edited September 22, 2013 by Young Polak
vincentcop
Would like to have belgium as well because they like a cool little country with high quality players, impressed with their current progress in the world cup qualifying and I like their colors I thought it was because the WASPA organizer is from Belgium. Only joking...

True Until I die
Finally a description of all the teams: From Left to Right: (Team name (league) 1. Blue Team- New Subbuteo Figs, Bases, Disks (Generic) 2. Red Team- New Subbuteo Figs, Bases, Disks (Generic) 3. Australia- New subbuteo Figs, Bases, Disks (International) 4. Brighton SC/ Brighton Hove Albion- New Subbuteo Figs, bases and disks (championship/FFV) 5. Australia 2010 World Cup- Superfooty Figures, PTF sureshot bases and disks-handpainted by Robert Smith (World Cup) Link for equipment: http://www.superfooty.net/index.html 6. The Mighty Melbourne heart FC 2011/12 Home- 2K11 Figures, iBase storm disks, PTF sureshot bases (A-league) 7. Caulfield Grammar- 2K11 Figures, iBase storm bases and disks- Handpainted by yours truly (APS) 8. Tottenham Hotspur- News subbuteo figures, iBase storm bases and disks (EPL) I find that I use the four on the right hand side as they play straighter and are more reliable. I prefer the PTF sureshot over the iBase storm and also really like the total soccer figures that are out there. Pretty happy with my collection though as I have my favourite teams (heart, spurs, stralia and brighton) wil high quality equipment. Any more questions feel free to ask

vincentcop
I'm from Belgium :-) (you know me, I'm the WASPA organizer) By the way, I'm thinking of ordering a few iBASE Storm Bases & Disks. Can anyone tell me how good they are compared to Subbuteo and PTF Sureshots or professional bases such as RealSoccer, Astrobase, Tchaaa ? Thanks a lot! Young Polak
So I have now 9 crowd barriers in total and I'm preparing to make a board to fit my pitch AND a stadium around it. what I'm planning on doing now is making a new, non-existent support group within a zuego grandstand in the corner of the pitch. I have ordered 100 STANDING supporters, with mixed colours, which will be glued onto the zuego stand, with crowd barriers and I have created some banners for them, calling this group "Legia Melbourne" They will all be fitted with the yside guys and the victory away terrace with their "visitors" banner Using one of these: And I have designed these: Edited October 22, 2013 by Young Polak
Young Polak
And also chuck in a sneaky "swan street death crew" banner in the stadium

fastfly100
Really interested in getting into this if i bought spares of all the same team would it work out cheaper than buying a set?
Young Polak
you would save around $10 if you bought a team box set rather than buying spares, that is, if you buy zuego brands. Don't go for LW (light weight) or Heavy weights. there are some things on sale now, $20 a teamhttp://stores.ebay.com.au/M4D-4B0UT-G4ME2/SUBBUTEO-/_i.html?rt=nc&_fsub=2843417014&_sc=1&_sid=191256684&_sticky=1&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14&_sop=2&_sc=1 Edited October 25, 2013 by Young Polak
Peter
When mounting field on a board, what is the recommended width to leave for stands etc.
Young Polak
my grandstand is around 270mm long. terraces are half that. I reckon roughly 300m of space around the pitch imo but I haven't built a board so it's up to you to judge on what you want Edited October 29, 2013 by Young Polak

Peter
I don't know if this has been posted already, but this gives a few ideas to those of us wanting to mount our pitch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rtp70quwzqE I think I will pin mine down rather than use adhesive. Like the edges and cut down for goal keeping. Simple but effective.

True Until I die
Hello everyone, Back from a month absence and have some great news to share and it includes a fair few photos. So a couple of days ago with large help from a friend I was able to become the proud owner of a completed 'stadium' which is of tournament quality. Nicely named the 'heart of Melbourne' stadium. The ground boasts a glued on subbuteo astropitch, flickmaster metal goals which are secured with wing nuts under the table supporting screws and finally some great coulour around the pitch. I am very happy to finally have this completed- hope you enjoy the pics, will add some unique shots shortly:
True Until I die
As for some unique shots- here they are: 1. The Melbourne Heart team lining up at their newly completed home stadium: 2. The stadium can also play host to national team games: 3. The heart players celebrate a goal with the y-side ( tacky I know, doesn't quite match Yp's supporters but I think it looks alright'
