Heart_fan
Played in an U21 friendly game for Millwall this morning. Interesting news. Hope it goes well for him.
Shahanga
Been a fair bit of chatter about Walker on other threads. Has played 7 games for Concord so far this season. Last game was an FA Cup tie this morning, he played at right back for 90 minutes but Concord lost 0-1 to League 2 side Mansfield Town. Concord sit 15th of 20 in the Conference South, which is the 6th tier. Anyway playing in an FA Cup tie is something 99% of this forum can only dream about, so good luck to him. From what we saw he was... But the thing is we never saw of enough of him really to make such a conclusive statement. But one thing I wish the members of the forum (including myself) got to access to for when assessing the abilities of different players in our squad would be analysis of how each player has been faring at training... like how Punters can access the results and even videos of Barrier Trials. NOTE: If PPL had the access to such information last season we prob would not have any Walkerist Movement.
jw1739
Again I'd say that if there are issues with one or more players on the training track then that's precisely where they should be promptly dealt with. Young players living away from home often have issues to deal with outside of their work environment, and we should have people on board to deal with those as well as football-related issues. Especially as we are required to have three youth players in our senior squad. If issues were allowed to fester with Walker, Vrankovic and Mitchinson either on or off the training track, or both, then IMO that's another black mark against the Heart management. Everything that's going wrong at City points to poor management.

Shahanga
For those who find the travels/working holiday of Jeremy interesting, this is the latest:he got a free out of Concord to a club with the slightly bizarre name of "Braintree Town", (moving with his gaffer), to play up a level in the "National League" (the re-badged Conference).Played 2 games for 4 whole minutes then loaned back to Concord for a month, where he is right now, having played 90 minutes in their last game. Shahanga
Well I like to keep things tidy so bumping this thread with the news that Jezza “scored the winner” in the Perth - Newcastle game. Pity it was in the wrong net but hey you have to start somewhere. The thread also makes fun reading about the fall from grace of promising prospect.
