Popular Post Jimmy
hummel F-League fixture released 18.04.2013 Four Victorian teams to play in the second season of the F-League The draw for the 2013 hummel F-League has been released with the season set to begin on 31 May. The F-League is Australia’s national Futsal league, endorsed by Football Federation Australia and includes teams from Victoria, New South Wales and the ACT. Mirroring the inaugural season in 2012, Victoria will have four teams in the competition with St Albans Strikers, Vic Vipers, Jaguars and Melbourne Heart set to compete. To cut down on interstate travel costs, the season is divided into five series. Each series is held over one weekend with each team playing three matches. Series Two and Three will be hosted at the new Derrimut YMCA, the home of FFV’s official Futsal competitions on 21-23 June and 13-14 July. New South Wales club Dural Warriors won the inaugural tournament in 2012 with Vic Vipers the best performing of the Victorian sides, finishing third on the table. Coffee
The women will be playing actually. 8 mens and 8 womens teams. Including Melbourne Heart. No details on the Vic teams, but the Sydney Scorpians look like they have at least one player from the W-League. Interesting that the Victorian 'FutsalOz' group is sponsoring a NSW team. http://sydneyscorpions.com.au/2013-sydney-scorpions-womens-team/ Fixture - http://futsal4all.com/2013/04/f-league-womens-division-news/

Jimmy
The Club is in with it's first realistic chance at silverware with the women's F-League team currently sitting in third and just 4 points off top spot after five games played. The girls next five games are on the 6th and 7th of July at the YMCA Derrimut Health and Aquatic Centre.

Jimmy
Would love to see people get around a game here. The girls are apparently quite a young and exciting team and the blokes obviously need the support. Hate to flog off WSW even more but look at the crowd they got to a wheelchair game here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6C5cyG1va7A&feature=youtube_gdata_player Surely we can get some along to at least one of our Futsal fixtures. MaliMate
Do these blokes get paid? Can't imagine them being pleased with a fixture such as that especially considering the games are in Derrimut. Do they drive back & forth themselves? Would be a headfuck. No, They are essentially a local team who have been handed a few used MHFC Shirts.
