Good thing we got all the women out of the office, now we can run the country properly.

Does this count as legit mysogyny yet Cadete?

Yes and with Telsa's view on women in politics.

This leadership spill had to happen. Rudd stands a far better chance at the election than Gillard. Hopefully Shorten takes over after the election. He's a leader I will actually support.

So sick of the media though. Regardless of what Labor do, there are too many pricks out there in the media that put a negative spin on everything. Listening to Sky News, you have dickheads like Paul Murray and Kroger who are constantly bad-mouthing Labor at any opportunity. The moment Rudd was announced to have the numbers, they immediately turned their attention to discrediting Rudd. People like them two are a reflection of the Australian media at large. In any instance, Labor is always fighting an uphill battle when it comes to the media. I generally wouldn't have an issue with this since it's all subjective opinion, but there are too many idiots in Australia who take these opinions as the Gospel and base their vote on such information. I'm no fan of Gillard by any means, but there are so many people out there that hate her with no knowledge whatsoever of the respective policies of Australian political parties.

Bill Shorten is the biggest winner in this little coup. By back Rudd he has removed Gillard, and placed the other possible contender to Labor leadership in power knowing that he won't last (also needs someone to be leader during opposition if they lose this election).

. This means that when Shorten chooses his moment he will be able to take leadership unopposed with no fear of Rudd plotting in the background (no one will want him back after being outed twice). He will ride in on his white horse to the saviour of the labor party.

Hopefully Shorten will bide his time a little bit... It will be a long time in opposition. No one who takes up the leadership of the oppoisition immediately after being ousted becomes Prime Minister in the end.

And Shorten is a top bloke, so i wouldn't want to see a Brenand Nelson or Beazely pulled on him.

Also watch for Andrew Leigh in the future, absolutely fantastic MP with a real future if he plays his cards correctly.

Also enough of this misogynist crap, you all know that females in general are far inferior in leadership positions than men, it's science.

It's been proven they have a smaller brain compared to men. They need to stick to simple tasks like cooking and cleaning. There small brains can't comprehend much else

Fun fact, K-Rudd in his university days attempted to make his ANU college an alcohol-free zone.

Another reason why he is Kevin "No Mates" Rudd,

And TBH I dont think Bill Shorten voted for Rudd to set in motion an eight year plan to get himself into the lodge, he knows the polling (With Rudd as well) and its just a bit Stalinist IMO for a smart  guy like Shorten to be thinking along such long term lines.

That ad is rubbish. What relevance do past Labor ministers like Richo and Latham have in the current circumstances? Their opinions may be valid, but they are providing nothing more than political commentary.

Richo often bad-mouths Labor these days. Why should his views even be considered relevant in terms of an election campaign? It's like getting some Liberal from decades ago to give their views on Tony Abbott. They may love him or hate him, but I don't see how why that should reflect the attitudes of current ministers in the party.

But it does reflect the attitudes of most of the current minsters in the party...

strong feminists complaining on the weekend about cabinet being only men...

...and then it was released that there would be more female cabinet members under Rudd than there was under Gillard.

So Julia was wrong when she said anything but a Gillard Government would have set Women in Politics back by years? :hmm:

Lol, effectively the retirement of Windsor and Oakeshott autmoatically guarantees the coalition victory irrespective of these shifts in polls.

Not to mention the greens breakup.

They hold one seat in the lower house and Bandt will either Hold Melbourne or gift wrap it for us? Melbourne hasn't gone Blue in a hundred years... why would it now all of a sudden?

The election is always won or lost in one place: Western Sydney,

Even with Rudd in the picture now it will be these seats that will give Abbott a reasonably comfortable win.

What does that have to do with the Heart FC's comment regarding the Greens?

Nothing - Just that your little fight in Melbourne with your Ex Lovers will not decide the election anyway.

Top post! srs! Try living in this fucked up state where they make up 5 of 25 lower house seats and they have ministerial positions in a Labor-Green Government. Easier to get things done on Mars!

Almost lost my shit when I first read this and then realised you were talking about at state level.

Should just abandon Tasmania as an inhabited place tbh... or should become a part of Victoria at the very least.
