Happy about Siem de Jong signing

Never heard of him rofl. As long as he's better than his tragically shit brother :droy:

Lol, it's his older brother. Didn't watch much dutch football last season but heard good things.

Did watch him slot 3 passed city in the h/a leg of the CL though.

About 10 minutes after De Jong was announced, Debuchy to Arsenal for £12m was been confirmed. £6m shelled out for De Jong. Nice little profit for fat mikes pocket

I knew that was going to happen after Sagna was allowed to leave.

Well he's been captain at Ajax since 2012 so he must be decent. I'll give it 3 months before pardew has him playing left back

Should play Drummett on the left now & move Santon onto the right where he belongs.

Pardew should do a lot of things but he never does.

Really not keen on Dummett. Santon could be brilliant with the right management.

Wonder if we'll get shot of Ben Arfa in the next few months, really hope we don't, he's the only exciting thing at the club at the moment but Pardew won't play him

I think Ben Arfa is gone. Pardew and his shit man management ruined that for us.

We'll end up flogging him to some Qatari team for 7.5m. Such a waste of a talent

Looks like we'll be losing Sissoko and Debuchy after this World Cup. With the likely departure of HBA and very possibly Cisse, we'll need at least another 3 signings on top of Colback, De Jong and Ayoze not to go down.

Really hope we don't lose Sissoko. Where did you hear he was on his way out?

They rarely post anything unless there's substance to it. Also Krul to Spurs could be happening.

'Sissoko's desire to leave United is at least partly fuelled by a dislike of the temperatures in the region.'

Ashley's at it again. Changed the name of Oldham Athletics ground from Boundary Park, which it has been since 1906, to Sportsdirect.com Park :droy:

:droy:

I seen he also had a war with Adidas, as they wouldn't give him the rights to sell WC kits in sports direct because of the state of the stores lol.

hahahaha really? thats brilliant.

I don't suppose you've ever seen the inside of a SD store but it is shocking. Just loads of shit chucked in a pile, far too much stock everywhere. Horrible place but plenty of people go.

Cabella's a great pick up for you. I'm no FIFA nerd, but I've watched the kid play a few times and he's pretty talented. Looking forward to watching him play in the EPL and seeing how he goes.

My Dad follows Newcastle so I feel a bit sorry for you guys. If you had a proper owner your prospects could be improved almost immediately. Large passionate support and a big stadium for them to pack out every week, wouldn't take long to pick up a few decent sponsorship deals to further improve your revenue (which would then enable you to bring in/hold onto better talent) if you could sustain an extended run in the top 5-7 spots for a couple of seasons, which for a club with your resources would ordinarily be possible.

Best of luck for the new season!   :)
