Jimmy
Derby VII @ Etihad Two months until our season opener against Victory at that terrible stadium and I personally am getting restless waiting for the season to start. I find myself on these forums a lot more than I should I be and am counting down the days. Their defense has been very shaky so far this preseason from reports so hopefully we can finish up our squad with some good signings and start the season perfectly with a big win over the mongs. See ya there.

heart_fan10
As long as our defence stays organised and solid, we'll destroy them. They had a full defence in against oakleigh last week (apart from Leijer who is terrible anyway), and still copped 4. By the sounds of things Ange is getting them to play out of the back no matter what, and as it showed with brisbane, particularly in the early stages of this "style of play", they will get caught out and concede goals. We just have to make sure the likes of Tadic/Dugandzic take their chances. Even though their attacking third is fairly good, there'll definitely be games this season where they'll cop 4 or 5. It also doesn't help them that Velaphi is a terrible keeper. It's been pointed out before that we tend to play better against the 'footballing sides' in the league, so now that the visitors actually seem like they're trying to play football, we should play well. 11v11
Melbourne Heart previewed on The World Game next Monday 20th August. The looked at Mariners last night. Looks like they are going through each club before the season starts.
heart_fan10
Milligan could also be out. Copped an ugly tackle against dandenong just before and was carried off. According to tweets, it looked very bad. Tadic and Dugandzic would be laughing going up against Franjic/Gallagher

Is it only victory members that can buy tickets now or can we buy them aswell?

Themi10
I think football family members can as well. Which is us. You would think so. I went to Ticketmaster at Etihad Stadium and was told I can not purchase them today. I think she was busy playing Farmville on her ipad though, which explains why I couldn't get tickets. Peter
You can buy tickets on ticketmaster, as I have already done. I went on the Ticketmaster website and it said that tickets are not available until Monday. The e-mail from the Heart said we would need our members barcode? What is it and where are we supposed to enter it? I'm off to buy a copy of "Football Internet for Dummies".

Rocco Jones
Thanks heaps Borris. Aisle 20 seats are $28 and Aisle 18 are $44. Doesn't seem much difference

Popular Post Footballism
Is L20 going to be yarraside? Yes, and just like YS at home games it will be treated like a GA section meaning you can stand where you want and you don't have to stand at your allocated seat. We will also likely need room in the front row(s) for banners/flags/tifo/capo etc. If you are going to whinge about people standing in front of you blocking your view or standing at your seat, then fuck off to another bay.

red and white in that number
We must have more than one bay for Heart supporters? Ok so bay 20 is ours what else so we can take over a couple of bays at least I get there late because i cant leave the pub and our group of 5 found it hard to get a row of seats together, at the visitors home ground last season COYH
Rocco Jones
We have 18 and 20. Now that ticketmaster allows you to pick your specific seat it would be good to try and 'take over' a bay
Ando
No need to 'take over a bay', just buy a ticket in Bay 20 and understand the front rows will be required for Y-Side match day logistics.
red and white in that number
We have the support to cover two bays no problem,so for anyone who doesn`t want to be active with Yara side. Buy a ticket in bay 18 to make some noise and add colour. A wall of red would do the trick
True Until I die
maybe 19 will become available after presale?
AyeCee
So bay 18 is generally for the average Heart fan, not interested in the active scene? Gonna purchase tickets for the family, want them to be close to the action, however don't want to throw them in the deep end straight up.
Tony999
If the greyed out area is "No Availabilty" does that mean it's all sold out?? Surely that many ticket are not sold or am I reading it incorrectly?
heartofwerribee
I've got 6 of the front row tickets for bay 20... So by sounds of it this is going to be yarraside territory? Glad to be amongst it
Olerhead
Tickets purchased. Looking forward to it. May have a spare ticket to donate to an eager YSide supporter, depending on whether or not a friend of mine can make it.
Peter
So bay 18 is generally for the average Heart fan, not interested in the active scene? Gonna purchase tickets for the family, want them to be close to the action, however don't want to throw them in the deep end straight up. I have sat in bay 19 with my family for the last two derbies at docklands. Close to the active area so we can make noise, stand up etc. along with those around us without copping poles in the head, being caught up with security hassles and the like. It has worked well and I believe once tickets go on sale generally you will be able to buy in bay 19. Still tossing up where to sit/stand this year. The young ones are border line young and probably wouldn't mind bay 20. Not sure about my wife. It would be good to fill both bay 20 and 19 as bay 19 last year was a bit sparsley populated the closer you got to bay 18. I would like to see all the away bays red and white. Perhaps we need to space out?
hakz7
maybe 19 will become available after presale? Nope, Bay 19 is still not available. So it looks like it'll be Bay 20 for me.... as last time the 18th bay were mostly full of seated people.
