I think we need no more evidence then looking at the shit that was dishes up by the south end. That's a perfect example of how not to support your team. A capo is essential to guiding the terrace. I think we have an opportunity to be unique in this league in our style a mixture of both European and English styles. I think those in the terrace should chant and respect the capos lead the same as we expect the capo to respect those who start a chant organically.
I see where you're coming from but i think you're missing the point of what the South end is. The south end was everything the north terrace wasn't. A bit of fun, didnt take themselves too seriously, chanted when they felt like it and cared more about the club than mugging a bunch of teenagers after the game. Having mates in the south end it actually sounds like a bit of fun.
That being said, we only having the one terrace and imo should be in between both the north and south end, to reference our rivals.. We can have a bit of fun, but also seriously make some noise and get behind the boys as well as put up some serious tifo displays over the years.

The terrace needs a capo but most importantly it needs a capo that doesnt crack the sads every time someone else starts a chant.
The terrace needs to flow more naturally and quit grinding out the same 5 songs to death so we run out of things to sing by the 20th minute. The crowd will start things as need be. The capo should be there to encourage and start when needed.

I watched Wellington yesterday and defensively they are all over the shop, I honestly couldn't work out if it was a back 3 or 4 for large parts of the game. Galloway started as a RB, then was a LB, then was a LM but no one replaced him at RB. Then they took Mullen off and Durante got injured, and for last 10 minutes absolutely no idea who was supposed to be where
It took me back to the good old days of last year when we couldn't decide who was supposed to be where
ahh the old wing swap tactics.. gets the defence every time.

Perhaps those who keep on bagging Colazo might now realise what a good footballer he is?
Was he a natural LB?? I thought he was a LW?

Big fan of that scott jammo interview. Seems like he enjoys his own twitter game

If he sends us to the world cup he can celebrate however he wants as far as im concerned..
It is questionable however.

good idea, good song, catchy as fuck
only problem is melburnians in the last few years have been near deaf to suggestions. they still think the cheezels shenanigans is hilarious
@strider Cheezels shenanigans are hilarious. If you can't have a laugh at a football game what good is a football game??
Probably like tasty tubes or some crap.

will be interesting to see who actually turns up early and if there will be any active support. Guessing a lot of fans will choose to stay at the pub

My son is nearly 8, with every darby he realises what dickhead supporters Victory have. I said to him about five times the other night - "that's why we support City"!
He couldn't believe that snotty 10-12 year old from the south end giving it to the Melburnians before the game. Great parenting!
Does your mother know you're here!?

it's sung semi regularly in the Melbourne city terrace too.
Alas, I love to see it done half as well as the Palace fans do it
glad all over, similar to this song, i think would be better as a song rather than call & response like we do now
yeah, this song was pretty rad at my year 6 disco
who played the beatles at grade 6 disco?!
All we ever got was low by flo rida...

Genuinely exciting match to watch today. Hugo made some huge saves. Edge of my seat the entire second half, but to keep madrid only scoring from the spot is a great performance. On to Liverpool!
