  1. Fairly certain 8-0 was the final score line. Not really a surprise though, Eltham are a very good side. Lost 3-1 today. Reckon we had about 10% possession but were 1-0 up for a while. Far too fucking hot and we had to play on synthetic too Reckon I had blisters within 2 minutes of the game starting. EDIT: Mazenod won 6-5 on pens. 2-2 was the FT score.
  2. I was sitting about 10 rows in front of them and was actually considering moving up into those seats before those clowns moved there. It was probably the saddest thing I've even seen at a football match in Aus and that's saying something. There was quite obviously a decent number of NT hang ons too, noticeable by the horrible "clobber" and the fact that nearly every chant was a victory song rip off. "The North Korea" North Face shirts were a particular highlight Was well over 100 people on the corner by the end, I'd guess around 250. Probably louder than most A League/Socceroos terraces I've seen too tbf (which says something about the culture here when people will chant louder ironically or trying to be funny than for a team they are supposedly passionate about). The cops/ACG's trying to deal with it was pretty hilarious though, started with a couple of ACG going up there before disappearing and coming back with around a dozen or so before leaving again and coming back 5 minutes later. And I'm pretty sure they never actually stopped people going up there, people were still going up their in the last few minutes when the cops/ACG were surrounding the bay. I was sitting right on the Aisle too and was getting sick of cunts constantly walking past.
  3. I know he hasn't been playing much at West Brom but Jason Davidson is 10 times the player Behich is.
  4. yeah the scheduling for this has been extremely poor. the cup final should be played the week before the a-league season starts, preferably on a sunday. state clubs will be entering the end of the season and a-league clubs will be just starting. no other way to go about it imo. another thing that is shit is had Bentleigh Greens got a suspension last night and won, that player would not be eligible to play the final. yet if Perth got a suspension that player could serve that this weekend and play the cup final. definitely needs to be fixed. oh and ffs all this talk of magic of Bentleigh Greens making it etc is bollocks. there was always gonna be at least 1 state team in the semi final FFS. next year needs to be 100% random or there is 0% magic in this Pretty much sums up my thoughts too. Wanted a FFA cup for a while, and we've seen that it's not too difficult to pull off but the FFA have, not surprisingly, still managed to fuck it up. I've really struggled to give a fuck about it at all. Can't wait for our national cup final on a Tuesday night in front of two thousand people in Gosford...
  5. serious? according to everybody except you it was amazing... We know you're a Victory fan but yes, I thought they sounded very impressive on the TV last night. Even though we did it first, your Tifosi Amesterdam sounds a million times better (ie isn't done at a million miles an hour) They did sound great and I look forward to the day, with the weight of numbers, that we sound similar to them and the RBB for that matter.

  7. The guy's a tards supporter, big surprise we're at 10 and they're at 1. Was done by people's opinions on twitter.
  8. Club legend. Thanks for the memories, Dave!
  9. Should change thread title to Vi5itor2 imo.
  10. Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but anyone who has actually been to Bev and Mick's before would know they don't do food.
  11. You're having a laugh if you think Australian soccer is anywhere near American soccer. I know you're talking about leagues but you only have to look at the national teams to see the difference in quality. Worth noting that there tends to be more MLS players in an American squad than A-League players in an Aussie squad. IFFHS ranks MLS 50 places above the A-League (49 compared to 99). Tim Cahill going to the MLS over A-League is further proof. Hard to see how we'll ever catch up to the Yanks when we have to play 2nd fiddle to them. Can't wait until a promising Melbourne City youngster is sent off to New York to continue his development.
