  1. Based on that daft logic, no one would ever be qualified for coaching. You have to start somewhere.
  2. A great shame because he definitely had another season left in him and will be very difficult to replace. A fine player and captain. Proper defender. Good luck to him in the future.
  3. Has he not been sacked yet?
  4. Gus Hiddink will be our new manager. Appointed once Chelsea have played last game of season.
  5. It was a poor trade for Malik but he has proved himself to be an absolute prick. And get some proper socks fffs
  6. He may be a reliable defender but he is definitely not a competent midfield player. Never in a million years.
  7. He will now be sacked, of that I am certain. CFG have effectively sacked a man who has led his team to the semi finals of the European Champions League so they will not hesitate to sack JVS after seeing the season go up in flames with 3 abject defeats in the last 4 games. I do not believe that JVS is as poor a manager as his more strident critics on here suggest but ultimately he has failed and must go.
  8. I genuinely believe this could happen Never in a billion years. Viera is too important to the youth development of City. He is worth far more to man city than he is to us. The even call the youth development team "Viera's team". Zero to No Chance. Nonsense. I watch every home game of the EDS side and nobody at Hyde has ever uttered such a thing in 2 years. Patrick has ambitions for management and a spell managing Melbourne would be another stepping stone towards getting the City job eventually. Managing at u21 level will not aid his development especially as most of the young players will not even get a chance.
  9. He was excellent today. Distribution impressed me too.
  10. Well for a start, as our much improved 2nd half display today proved, we are a more effective attacking unit when Damien Duffer is out of the way. He has no pace, his so called trickery usually ends in him retreating backwards and the move stalling, his crosses invariably fail to beat the 1st defender and he has the football brain of a 12 year old. Was really impressed by the work rate the team showed in the 2nd half. The high pressing game was excellent, Melling ran himself into the ground, Brown and Dugandze were lively and if only Williams could finish. Chapman was solid, Kisnorbo a fine leader, Velaphi looked assured and Mooy even when not quite at is best is outstanding at this level.
  11. I genuinely believe this could happen
