  1. Congratulations on an excellent result, sorry I couldn't get to see it. The form continues...
  2. It's entirely possible they could become a part of the family... it wouldn't surprise me.
  3. Maybe City will treat it as a sponsorship deal and stick a badge somewhere on your existing shirt? Just as likely as all the other hypothetical scenarios people are discussing.
  4. Would you have supported City if the colours and name changed when the takeover happened? This goes for all the City fans on the forum. Melbourne Heart's name and colours haven't changed.
  5. I wish I'd known kickoff was delayed 2 hours, I'd have been able to watch YET ANOTHER WIN!
  6. I knew he wasn't a City fan because he didn't iron the City half. Scruffy Herbert.
  7. It's down to the ref to judge intent, which should play a part in his decision on the colour of the card. I think it was obvious Engelaar didn't intend to hurt him, I don't even think he wanted to foul him since there were team mates close by. He was late caused by rustiness.
  8. I get the impression he is responsible for quite a lot of the fighting spirit in the team, it was good to see him in the ref's face (as captain) on behalf of Heart pretty much right the way through the match.
  9. There was no context taken into account when the ref gave him a straight red - he's coming back from injury and not fully match sharp - there was no malice in tackle whatsoever, it was clumsy but not deliberate. I really thought he'd killed the match when he sent him off. Thankfully they fought back.
  10. There were spells throughout the game (particularly after the equaliser though) where the crowd were very audible. It sounded like a great atmosphere.
  11. He did well in his one on one with Del Piero though, got to give him credit for that - you could say he saved the three points with that.
  12. Only thing I'm not too keen on, is the standing off - but if the fitness levels aren't as high as they could be (with their own dedicated facilities) then I guess that's understandable especially late in the second half.
