  1. You can disagree with our method of protest, however, it doesn't mean we are self-absorbed. Everything we do is for the club and for the wider fan base. Less restrictions on active means better displays, more often, more noise, more colour, and a better match day atmosphere. Hopefully the message was loud and clear and we will be back in action for the derby. Cheers to everyone who was supportive even if they didn't agree with the protest.
  2. An additional statement has been published. I haven't read this whole thread but I hope it clears up some of the questions and concerns. https://www.facebook.com/melburnians1847/posts/479068238938115
  3. Long time between posts! Anyway... We want to see numbers out in Heidelberg next Tuesday night for our FFA Cup clash with the Warriors. They are expecting big numbers, especially due to Kostas Katsouranis playing as a guest for Heidelberg, so pre-purchase your ticket to the game to avoid queues at the gate. Pre-game details are as follows, let's get it done!
  4. Melburnians video up for those interested https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=392962154215391

Just to track back a little bit. I just want to reiterate that our current "core" is very welcoming. I do hate the term core because it does sound a bit exclusive, but call it whatever you want.. I personally have time for literally anyone unless you somehow prove yourself to be a jerk. Apart from KD (because he is a c**t haha), the rest of core are exactly the same. Please come and say hi. I don't know how to make people any more aware than we already have that we are available and friendly. We even set up a little stall last week to sell stickers and scarves in an attempt to be more approachable! If you have any other advice on how to make people more comfortable to talk to us, please let me know. Ps. "The core" doesn't have a stance on flares. We can't control the actions of others.
  6. We only just ran out at the last jome game haha. Keep an eye on the Melburnians facebook page. Details coming soon

That's right. And we still can't make more than a quarter of the terrace jump. One game we had almost half jumping and it looked great on TV. Would look so good if everyone got involved.

This. You honestly cannot please everyone regardless of what you sing. One chant will be enjoyed by a third of the people, then another chant will be enjoyed by another third, but each third will only sing the chants they enjoy. If everyone just sang every chant that was introduced with the same passion that they sing their favourite chants, then the terrace would be a happier place and much easier to manage. But unfortunately people are selfish and will rarely give, but are always happy to take. When we can sing all the chants we currently sing with equal enthusiasm week in and week out, then we can add some more.

Mate if you like the identity of the RBB, head to Sydney and join them. If you want to help turn our terrace into something we can all be proud of, neck up, come and have a chat face to face and stop being a little bitch about things online.
  11. On a positive note, we are trending on Twitter... haha
  12. Announcement from our facebook page. Please share around. This is why we can't have nice things. https://www.facebook.com/melburnians1847/photos/a.290788884432719.1073741828.288767427968198/357955654382708
  13. Probably for the original Melbourne City, the state league div 3 or whatever they are.
