yeah the policing is a joke! - i'm not really a keen AFL follower but is there as much policing there? last night there were around 10 police (who never paid for public transport) following the sydney supporters to the ground? is this really required... given there were only around 20 of them most of which were kids!

Yep. I was there. Disgraceful. The blokes sit next to us week in and week out and show a bit of passion. Police and security forced the banner off them saying that they had to communicate the message "outside the stadium and through the proper channels". I would've thought being a fan at a game inside the stadium is the proper channel! Bloody ridiculous. Next home game, banners all round. Target ACG, FAA etc. As JW has said on this forum a number of times, it seems that those in power want to control supporters. I have not seen such a faux environment created at football anywhere else in the world. It is getting up my nose. Those blokes sit next to us every week, i was just in front of them last night! as a supporter of the club who pays good money they should be allowed to have any banner they like! would security have taken an Aloisi is king banner? poor show by both security and the club! "SACK THE BOARD" should be the next banner we all take! i highly doubt we will need to though as the franchise will be bankrupt if we continue on dow the current route of complete mis management at all levels!

The Board don't know who to appoint there is three candidates who should be in melbourne monday for interview! Tuesday one of them is appointed, thats the answer - another thread was created because all the others only want Aloisi sacked we don't need to tell the board this we need to tell them who we get as a replacement!

Paul Sturrock, Craig Levein, George Burley any of these guys don't have a job and would bring success to the club! we need a manager who has knowledge of the game NOT LONG BALL we don't wan't JVS who at best was passable we need quality, we must look for experience and someone who can bring knowledge of the game! the board may want an Australian coach, but lets face it we need wins, we need a COACH! not someone who only talks to the players the following day.......
