I'd like to do a bit of research that will probably be forgotten. How many people who support man city, were an avid fan before their success? How many since the sheikh? How many since the heart buyout? Just curious to know how many people in aus actually saw a game televised at Maine road as a supporter? And bar the obvious reason of "success", why people chose man city after the sheikh bought them... Go nuts (I, PeterCrouch am not a Man City fan. I never have been, and am merely asking this as I've never understood why anyone would support this club anyway and am interested to know. I don't care for, or believe there is a correct reason for supporting city. I'm just interested as to why)

Taking inspiration from my username, my interest has skipped around a few different clubs. Mainly supporting beautiful football, I watched a number of the ugliest sides to watch over the years, most notably stoke. Then one morning in Berlin after crashing a stag do & inviting ourselves for the duration of a messy 4 days with a few English lads, it was Brighton Hove & Albion. Didn't have much of a choice. "Brighton, that's your team in England." And heart became theirs. I mostly follow motherwell given it's my old mans local club and I don't have the interest to be locked into the religion battle in Glasgow (apologies for any offended)
