  1. Not much point if all their supporters have 5 year bans...
  2. "What do we want?" "Equajustmocradom!"
  3. Reasonably sure they are just General Admission memberships; no reserved seat and subject to capacity. Often that means Level 3 only at Etihad and limited Level 1 at the G.
  4. Lel. I'd pay an extra $10 bucks a year not to have to get all the shit mail to do with board elections and shit.
  5. Had the ball bounced half normally in the last minute you'd have to say it would have worked. Look re Lyon i largely agree with you that he's always been a short term focused coach. That's probably not to say he isnt capable of regenerating the list though, he's never tried it. There's also the role of the list manager in both cases who obviously left a bit to be desired. Externally its hard to know exactly how much role each played in the eventual downfall of their clubs. It's still a wait and see job for me.
  6. Surely you can acknowledge that there is a massive difference to coaching a success starved club like StKilda, the Dogs, Melbourne or Freo than it is to a West Coast, Hawthorn or Geelong. It's all well and good to build sustainably, but if it gets to the crunch, particularly so at those clubs, the pressure has to be on to give yourself the best possible chance in that given year. Geelong and Hawthorn have had the luxury of rebuilding on the run in the last decade because they had no a lot less pressure to get the elusive flag.

  8. As much as Id like it i dont think it would be in MacLarens best interests to come here. He'd be walking away from a side that has worked really well for him and got him into the national team, whereas if he come here and doesnt gel with Fornaroli, he'll be coming off the bench. Bad career move imo.
  9. Mooys head IS a white pixel...
  10. If you say Sydney really fast it sounds like City. FFA may yet have to recall that rule.
  11. haha fair enough. the prices are on the steeper end, they usually are for socceroos matches. Still, i'm going for a look, only get to see the national team live every so often and the way we're playing of late, imo its worth it.
  12. Do you always whinge about the cost of things?
  13. I think we all know the answer...

Must be one of those ‘what its like to live on the other side of the fence’ experiences…
  15. I agree, that is humorous. At the end of the day Unions have a place, as you demonstrated above but the fact they can put business' to the sword via strikes and lengthy dispute resolution is baffling. So many people that are shit workers can get away with doing nothing with the current laws the way they are. Personally I think they should just ban industrial action. Would solve a hell of a lot of problems and take the influence away from the unions and put it back in the hands of the Fair Work Commission. Ironically i don't often agree with them either but at least it cuts all the business crippling bullshit that the business owners have to go through, often unjustly.
  16. Do you really think they were sacked for those reasons? That might have been what the 'sackable offence' might have been, but in all likelihood they were just shit at their job and due to workplace laws they had to pick something out. Not saying the odd bullshit sacking doesnt happen, but in my experience bosses do all they can to keep the good workers because they know thats who makes them money. (Also aware im taking a bit of a small business focus there.)
  17. Dan only got into the ALP leadership because of his relationship with the unions... Tbh thats why ive been somewhat (mildly) impressed with him; he hasn't been the complete pushover to their will until now.
  18. Perhaps Im biased, but league players in particular seems to have a much much lower IQ to the other codes
  19. Ill probably just watch them live at the venue. Getting keen.
  20. Speak for yourself. I put a sticker on a train station once.
