  1. Well done to this kid, 50 senior appearances and still just 20 years old. Has played really well since the Olyroos ban and it’s always good to see him in the XI. I really like the way he plays, he’s a modern fullback who is a playmaker from out wide. I can’t help but see some similarities to Trent Alexander Arnold, not just in the way he plays that position but also that he’s come through the Academy and become a proper senior player before he was 20. Hope he plays out the season and we re-sign him because his contract is up soon.

  2. Whoever plays right back for them we will have to target. Fenton is injured and Payne who has been doing OK there is suspended. So whoever plays there will be make shift Also have to put some attention into Davilla. IMO he is winning JW medal at the moment, I imagine that Griffiths might be given that task

  3. How's that triple twist somersault flip with pike he did straight after the tackle. Reminiscent of Berisha at his best a few years back. Should've got a yellow just for the overacting. Oh and how the fuk did donarchie stay on the pitch. What an out and out arsehole.

  4. If it was a tard tackling one of our players, yes, but as it was being delivered by one of our guys on a tard, the yellow was absolutely approriate, and the equivalent of a gold medal. I had a few tard supporters whinge to me that it should have been a red, and I agreed and also explained that it was enjoyable to watch (as was the Griff handball)

  5. what does my fucking head in is the amount of times he shoots from distance and doesn't get it anywhere near the goals and then the fucking around at corners where we play it short and then to jamo closer to the box so he can massively over hit the cross, just give our big guys a chance and send it directly to them from the corner ffs

  7. One of the good things to enjoy was that the VAR didn't poke his/her nose into the action. Football as it is supposed to be played.

  8. IMO we waste a lot of our dead-ball situations. What does my head in is to take a free-kick in our attacking half backwards and then play it all the way back to our 'keeper.

  9. I really appreciate his efforts but no a fan of the captaining style, this bullying and intimidation annoys me.

  10. My favourite moment in the terrace during a derby was when the whole home end were chanting "There's only one team in Melbourne" towards the end of the game when we Kewell scored the 4th goal in the 4 nil spanking. And the visitors were silent

  11. Feel a lot more comfortable with Glover in goals even with his lack of experience. He just seems to have more of a presence/confidence between the sticks... Hopefully we don't see Floganis back in goals again!

  15. Great post. I really don't like politics, it has alway's been for the rich, not the everydayman. That said there has been a slew of social politics that is very distasteful, ultimately this is having a big effect on my thinking. Agree Hanson is in it for herself in the long run, but at least she wants to promote Australian business instead of the corporation new world order stuff the both the Liberals, labour and greens are pushing, albeit in different ways (to much to go into, it should be a separate discussion). Your story about the rural guy is correct and is the same with these fires, I went to Moe for holiday and took a trip up to the Gypsland area. I am sure there will be many people crying for aid when they don't deserve it, I don't really like it personally. I was in Belgrave sth during ash Wednesday and nobody I knew got any help, they just had to get on with things. "Their work has been trashed at every opportunity. By whom? By farmers of course." from what I have heard it's the complete opposite "As far as making money from it is concerned," This is a flowing river water, it's not treated, sure it's managed through the dam, but that's half the problem and that problem stems from American cotton farmers. Agree it's about rain, though it's also a knock on effect. There was a study done in the late 90's (I had a brief look and couldn't see it, this was interesting though https://www.agrifutures.com.au/wp-content/uploads/publications/08-044.pdf) that measured increased rainfall where native trees covered a large area compared to introduced species, they didn't go into the why, only the measurements. The way it's being managed is unnatural for the environment. But when we talk about QLD/Syd their environment is a lot different to ours and the land management is different, you understand that farmers cannot dig a dam on their own property? (probably a whole other discussion). "Lower taxes, apart from reducing the quality and availability of services, prevent from society paying for adjusting to the changing conditions". Not if our wealth was growing, with so much outsourcing, foreign ownership, and free trade agreements, we only have the mining and agricultural sector and the government seem intent on killing our Ag sector. If we are not pulling in foreign money and growing our wealth, all we are is a shop, slowly bleeding ourselves dry. "The government can buy out farmers in marginal land and pay for resuscitating the land." Better yet, make a few million selling it to China. "we can have better firefighting capabilities, we can rebuild towns to improve fireproofing". What equipment do we not have that we should have? How do you propose to rebuild towns to be fire proof? The main reasons for the fires has been land management and I solely put the blame on the greens, they have a large say and have a larger say in Labour policies. They changed their policies in November whilst the fires started to rage, they did not support hazard reduction burns, they advocated and won policies that dissalowed important land management for an animals home, ironic isn't it? "farmers don't like paying taxes." They love the 457 visas and the international working holiday/study visas as well, most farmers wealth is in assets. "Greens' economic policies". I wouldn't know what they are, they are to busy talking about bringing every third world country immigrant into Australia that they can, LGBTQI+ rights, telling us that firefighters come home and beat up their wives and destroying infrastructure by going totally renewable, the tech just isn't there, but happily ignore nuclear. "As far as saying that both political parties are the same that would be your opinion". Yes. "you can only make subtle changes and it takes time to change direction". No one wants to make the long term subtle changes, or the hard stance changes for that matter since the eighties and they were getting dodgy then, I was barely out of nappies during this time. The two major parties are in it for the short term, make a quick buck, they couldn't care less about Australians future and they each take turns expecting it. The greens I have no idea, but they seem intent on bringing in the new world order open borders, climate change religion at any cost.

  16. Michael Jordan has aids?? You're not thinking of Magic Johnson are you? TBH the three US firefighters that died in that plane crash deserve much more attention.
