Perhaps you've signed a couple of diamonds in the rough (Luna and Cabrera) because of the scouting resources CFG has at its disposal. That's where City should hold a competitive advantage, because we know for sure that CFG aren't going to spend more on marquees than some of our rivals. There's also no point in making any judgement calls on these two "unknowns" before they've played a game. The best players for us (in the CFG era) have pretty much all been unknowns before arriving here, so if anything these types of signings should excite City fans, not disappoint. Especially considering they've signed this far from the start of the season!

Truly bizarre. I didn't think he was as bad as some over the whole season (though there were points I'm on the record as being very critical) but one of our two best players? He's going to have to improve substantially to justify that. Somebody reckons he's good. It's going to be interesting...

Come on, this bloke is lucky he has an extra year on contract. There is no way he would deserve a contract extension on last seasons performances. The bloke barely deserved to start. Now I'm hopeful he can prove many wrong including yours truly but there is a reason he came from the French 2nd division.
