Negative buggers on here. Third match in 8 days, travelling around 8,000 km. Away from home, down to 10 men for two-thirds of the match, grab a point after twice being behind. Take it and move on.14 points

Fox Sports voting is rubbish, ccm central defenders best 2 on the park. They conceded twice against 10 men5 points

Always thought the expectations of an easy win were too optimistic. Mariners have a great manager, play neat football, and have some excellent young players. And they were at home. In the circumstances, having been one down so early on, we've salvaged something.4 points

I agree it was a red, but it was far from 3 weeks. Watching the replay it doesn't look malicious at all and merely a lunge out of desperation after losing the ball and trying to spread as much as possible to block a pass. Definitely not a Muscat tackle as some on here are sugessting as he purposely goes out of his way to injure players.3 points

You know youre being unreasonable when @jw1739 calls you out for being too negative...3 points

Selfishly I hate this. Imagine having to say Bouzanis and Bozanic on talking city. I'm brain dead enough as it is already without having to contend with this.3 points

I would like to see Mitch Austin slam into him. He would never get up again .3 points

Am i the only one that thinks Dean's culpability in either of those goals yesterday is minimal, like 10%, at best?2 points

Mariners have a fraction of our resources, had a heap of senior players out, and still played good football against us. For all their limited resources they look like a team, and they are good to watch. There's a lot to like about them, and a lot of that has to do with their coach. I'd be delighted if he rocked up at City.2 points

We just need David Williams to come on and repeat the same heroics he did against Sydney when we had 10 men that one time.2 points

IMO loss for us means we can say tartar to top two while a loss for the Mariners means they can say tartar to finals: very saucy indeed 🤔👍2 points

Will we squeeze a win out of this game? 3 points would allow us to Ketchup to Newcastle. Hopefully Heinz Sight will allow Wazza to make necessary choices to get us the win. Good to see Melling on the pitch for CCM. Has been ages since I have seen him play. Hope to see him 'give a good account of himself'.2 points

Bouzanis ends up in no man's land a lot of the time due to bad decision making and my gripe is that he has not improved over time. Opposition set pieces need to be attacked and Galekovic does it well even though his howlers were due to not punching the ball clear rather than poor positioning. It's a matter of Bouzanis not having the smarts to take control of his area, which is one of the worse deficiencies a goal keeper can have, because around the 6 yard box he should always be contesting the ariel ball. I admit it was difficult conditions, but the correct play was to contest the ball.1 point

Goal keeping is not really my strength but I think: 1. Great ball in, Delbridge tries to deal but doesn’t. dean culpability 0% 2. Decent corner but Dean needed to come for it (wasn’t that far out) and then it never gets to the crossbar, I know that wind would have made judging it a nightmare but I thought he could have done better there.1 point

Watching his highlights from Cincinnati he loves to make big tackles. Joyce said a few week back that he had kicked just about everyone in training. Clearly a pretty aggressive and uncompromising player. Got this one wrong and deserves a few weeks. Hopefully he learns to read the game a little better and stands off when appropriate.1 point

It always amuses me that fans get disgruntled when they establish that the new signing is not as good as Lionel Messi.1 point

I think the number one thing we can take from this game, is that Paul Okon is a whiny little bitch who doesn't stfu when things go his way.1 point

Amazing how this bloke is having a far, far superior season to last year but seems to be getting far fewer plaudits from the 'experts'. Goes to show how good the Aussie pundits are i spose.1 point

From the past three matches: Sydney: 5 pts. Newcastle: 7 pts. City: 7 pts. Victory: 4 pts. Adelaide: 5 pts. WSW: 5 pts. Perth: 0 pts. CCM: 2 pts. Brisbane: 0 pts. Phoenix: 4 pts. A bit selective I know, but we've actually kept pace with Newcastle over the past three matches, and improved our relative positions against all the other clubs.1 point

He was invisible prior wasn’t t he? Once he scored he got going though. It’s easy to imagine that his confidence was low and perhaps he’s the type who needs it more than others? Or maybe he’s just normally a lazy fucker? I’m not sure which one it is.1 point

If we're predictable in attack then I'd like to hear how you'd describe the Mariners. What was it before today, 1 goal in 6? String a couple of passes together on the deck and all of a sudden a guy's a great manager, the Mariners have been poor most of the season.1 point

Brattan looks really good, chasing players, chasing balls, putting pressure on and a few nice passes. Arzani should play 90mins with Rosco today.1 point
