Jesus. Fitzgerald was our best attacker IMO. He created that late chance, an absolute bloody sitter that McCormack should have gobbled up had he not been asleep in the 6-yard box. Sydney or Victory would have had 3 players in the box for that cross. We won't win anything if we don't take chances like that. IMO people should start looking at what players actually do, rather than reputations.

I didn't think Retre was surplus to our requirements at all. He could come on and be a very useful player in a number of positions, including RB. As in the case of Caceres, I think we've made a mistake in letting Retre go. Redmayne was highly regarded when we poached him from Brisbane. In due course he was good enough to oust Bolton. Then he just got worse and worse under the tutelage of Joey Nepotism, to the point where his main role was to pick the ball out of the net. Under a new coach he's doing well. Sure he made one mistake on Friday, but his kicking was no worse than that of Galekovic.

Sorensen Marrone - Wilkinson - Jakobson - Behich Mooy - Engelaar - Fred Novillo - Fornaroli - Kewell Really shows our lack of quality on the wings when you're choosing between a crocked Harry Kewell, David "Top Row" Williams and Richie Garcia for the final spot. Brandan will hopefully produce enough this season to make him a shoe in for a place on the wing, although Fitzy is staking a claim on the past 12 months.

what for 1minute ? when he turned on some fancy footwork Unsighted for much of the match, no chasing back , tackles ? perhaps I blinked at the wrong moment don't get me wrong, the guy has some serious skill when he has the ball, but he doesn't go chasing the ball I thought that we were going to see a substitute being substituted

Surely we can implement some system until then, so that when bruno comes back, we slot him in for Ross? I understand that bruno and ross have differences in the way they playl, but atm we are just very disjointed up front. Their must be some type of system he can put in temporarily, until bruno gets back

There's always a chance. A big big club makes him an offer he can't refuse he will walk. For instance Real Madrid finish 2nd or 3rd in La Liga and get knocked out of the Champions League in quarters or Semis then it's not unrealistic for Zidane to get axed and Ponch made a massive offer.
