What a great performance and win 😂 Everyone one of the players played their part. Special mention goes to Bouzanis, Muscat & Rose. Those three players where the ones most people had concerns about. All three played there part. Brattan & Colazo pulled the strings in midfield. The front four of Bruno, Cahill, Kamau & Brandan where unstoppable. OMG I cant breath, ive spent half the game laughing at this bloke. Legit the funniest player ive ever seen. He was completely shitting himself at the start of the game, came close to being charged down a few times. We score a goal and you see he gets a bit more confident, he is no longer shitting himself and paassing the ball okay. We score a second and he is fired up af. Yelling at defenders, launching long ballsdown the ground. Score a third and he thinks his Messi now, dribbling the ball when it comes to him. Score a 4th and he is playing 5 meters outside the penalty box when the ball is in our half. If we score a 5th and he'll be in the opposition box trying to get on the scoresheet.

This is the best I've seen us play. Absolutely all over them. Tim Cahill is a god holy shit

Unbelievable night! This is honestly better than the 4-0 derby win! We were all over them from the get go. PRessure over the park was immense and not one player put a foot wrong tonight. IMO you're overplaying the "goalkeeper of the year" bit. Everyone knows that the "player of the year" should have been Aaron Mooy, with Bruno running a close second, but the award went to Castro.

The FFA Cup semi will show us if JVS will still find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of Victory.

At this current stage it looks like our main test will be against Sydney if they keep their current form. Although I know they haven't had the hardest matches in the first two rounds. Interesting to see what will happen with an injury replacement for Gameiro, we have enough midfielders and wingers, so maybe a left back possibly if they decide to sign someone?

what a great performance.....agree with so many comments already on here out of the starting line up only 2 were here last season, Bouzanis and Bruno Sheesh we've made some good signings I want to make mention of Kilkenny, who did all the unseen dirty work, ran the extra yards, made the tackles, held up the play, He shut down the attacking threat of FBK, who was unsighted, stiffled the midfield of Victory, this alllowed our other players to show their attacking flair and expose the Victory frailties and were there many I going to have a read of the Victory forum and have a laugh Looking forward to Friday night

Not really. Sorensen was clearly the best goalkeeper. Being the best overall player obviously no. But being a visa keeper if he wasn't the best in League then he should by rights be replaced. So far Sorensen has proven to be durable and apart from a few errors has been everything I have hoped for and as far a Bouzanis goes tonight is his opportunity to shine and lay a claim to be regarded as A League quality keeper. Good luck to him and hopefully he has a super quiet night.
